From: manessman26 on 2 Aug 2008 22:37 I need a little advice. Maybe you can help out: My ex and I have been divorced for about 8 years. We share custody 50/50. I recently took my daughter on a trip out of town, and we all got sick...food poisoning or some virus. Anyway, My daughter ended up missing a family trip with her mom because of the illness, and her mom is out the airfare. She says it's my responsibility to pay for it since our daughter got sick while in my care. your thoughts?
From: mikechamberz on 3 Aug 2008 18:03 Consult your attoney but having just completed a parenting class I believe it's going to me in your favor to do just that and pay her. If she pushes it the court / attorney fees are going to cost you a lot more.

I can't believe your ex is making such demands. Good thing you divorced her.
