Hmmm, well, this week I become a part time wheelchair user. My chair is
arriving tomorrow, I don't know what I feel about it yet except worried
about how people will react.

I'm always tempted to take one of those motorized shopping cart scooters
when I go to Walmart. I don't need one, but I could have fun terrorizing
the other shoppers. ;-)

Seriously, I read somewhere that people either stare at you with pity
or, in an effort to be sensitive, ignore you completely. There aren't
many people who are able to treat you like a normal person.

I think I'd buy one of those air horns to freak people out. :)
