I become hypomanic on all SSRIs and also on Lamictal when
the dose is higher than 50mg.

Therefore, I've been taking Lamictal 50mg, Depakote 250mg
and Klonopin 2mg per day.

I've been severely depressed. So pdoc added Wellbutrin 75mg.

After the first day of Wellbutrin 75mg I feel better - more
energetic and actually playful with friends and colleagues.
Even after one day!

This is making me very nervous because I'm afraid I'm not
getting an anti-depressant effect, but rather, I'm getting
the beginnings of a hypomanic reaction. They are hard to
tell apart until you're off and running.....

Any thoughts and/or suggestions greatly appreciated.

i will bet that this is not due to medication...as i think most people will
agree with me but there is always exception, give it a try for more days and
btw do u know your previous period of hypo. check with that at the same time
for safty
