From: jils on 10 Sep 2008 07:10 always looking for someone suffering the same symptoms ... anyone get this weird crackling noise in one ear, in response to external sounds? i've had it for ages, years, maybe, i dunno, i forget, but i JUST thought to try to find a dx online (as you do). my research on the intergoogleweb thingie leads me to believe it's stapedial myoclonus. so i'd be interested to know if anyone here has experienced this. i'm not jumping to the ms conclusion. just drawing on the experience of so many good people. and a captive audience. hah!
From: Tick on 10 Sep 2008 16:14 I get a weird crack in the ear that's on the same side as my trigeminal neuralgia quite often. It's not painful but really annoying at times. I don't have a clue what triggers it. I think some clinical trials are called for. Tell you what, I'll blow in your ear if you'll blow in mine. ;-) On Sep 10, 6:10 am, jils <j...(a)spambegone.com> wrote: > always looking for someone suffering the same symptoms ... anyone get > this weird crackling noise in one ear, in response to external sounds? > i've had it for ages, years, maybe, i dunno, i forget, but i JUST > thought to try to find a dx online (as you do). > my research on the intergoogleweb thingie leads me to believe it's > stapedial myoclonus. so i'd be interested to know if anyone here has > experienced this. > i'm not jumping to the ms conclusion. just drawing on the experience of > so many good people. and a captive audience. hah!

From: Tick on 10 Sep 2008 23:23 Shelley, ordinarily if a beautiful woman blew in my ear I'd follow her anywhere but if Jils keeps moving farther and farther from me I ain't following her anywhere. She's gettin' too far from the house. I can take the hint. :-( On Sep 10, 6:42 pm, "Shelley" <no...(a)nohow.com> wrote: > Or you could follow each other in circles... ;) > > "jils" <j...(a)spambegone.com> wrote in message > > news:48c857d4$0$31801$afc38c87(a)news.optusnet.com.au... > > > > > yeah but then you'd have to follow me. > > > Tick wrote: > >> I get a weird crack in the ear that's on the same side as my > >> trigeminal neuralgia quite often.
