From: judamd on 7 Oct 2005 16:04 It's been a little over two years since surgery with nothing to brag about in the erection department. My foreskin is intact and lately I've noticed it has been getting tighter when trying to pull it back to clean, etc.. The last couple of days I have had a couple of skin tears with minor bleeding. I've gone online to investigate and found stretching exercises that make sense and I've also applied some skin softening lotion. Any of you other "hooded" guys experienced this? It burns like hell when I dribble. Maybe I should have used the pump more often. :) Dave Perry
From: judamd on 7 Oct 2005 17:55 I don't think it's shrunk to fit. I do get engorgement to nearly normal size, just not very stiff. This new phenomenon started about a week ago with some sudden redness and irritation from the pads I continue to wear. I think it's all there, just less pliable than before. Besides the exercises and lotion, I will try going without a pad for at least parts of the day when I'm not very active. I've been making slow improvement in the incontinence department even at two years out so that I'm at less than 1 full pad per day although I wear it all day long. I'll report any changes and of course make a Dr. visit if it doesn't improve. Dave Perry

Peyronies disease caused my overall length and girth to decrease without a corresponding decrease in the amount of skin I had. Even though I could get a reasonable erection, it wouldn't fill out my foreskin. My foreskin shrunk until it wouldn't retract over the head. Since I knew I would have a catheter from my RRP, I had my doctor circumcise me during the whole procedure. OUCH! OUCH! Fourteen stitches in a very tender part of the anatomy (I counted them one by one as they came out). But at least I didn't have to worry about an unanticipated erection. ;-(
From: judamd on 10 Oct 2005 19:47 Sorry to hear about the circumcision. I've been doing the stretching business and lubricating with skin moistening lotions. Things are getting better, roughly about 30% of the way back to normal during the last couple of days. With no massive erections, I've not experienced the need for a maximum stretch yet but the whole thing sure is a pain. Always something. Dave Perry

I cannot imagine the immediate pain (having had the procedure when I was a few days old), but I would seriously consider circumcision. You're 62 or 63, more than two years out without detectible PSA, and erections are at best intermittent. It doesn't take a physicist to add that up. If you don't get it snipped off, it's going to irritate you for decades. -- PSA 16 10/17/2000 @ 46 Biopsy 11/01/2000 G7 (3+4), T2c RRP 12/15/2000 G7 (3+4), T3cN0M0 Neg margins PSA .1 .1 .1 .27 .37 .75 EBRT 05-07/2002 @ 47 PSA .34 .22 .15 .21 .32 Lupron 07/03 (1 mo) 8/03 (4 mo), 12/03, 4/04, 09/04, 01/05 PSA .07 .05 .06 .05 non Illegitimi carborundum <judamd(a)aol.com> wrote in message news:1128715454.377207.9530(a)g44g2000cwa.googlegroups.com... > It's been a little over two years since surgery with nothing to brag > about in the erection department.
