i was treated for early stages prostate cancer in 2003, underwent
treatment including 5 weeks of external beam radiation and then
brachytherapy(seed implantation). as of january 2005 i began to
experience post radiation cystitis which includes burning upon
urination and bleeding. so far, my urologist has been unable to ease
the discomfort and i was wondering if anyone in this forum has
experience what i've just described and if so, what have you done to
get help. my doctor has prescribed detrol, urised and enablex, all of
which have had no real effect on easing the discomfort.
