I'm sure there are other explanations.

Where is the evidence that he didn't say it?

So far, we only get your _opinion_ that he didn't say it. That's not good
enough.

1962? That was before I was born. When was the last case of polio in the US?

Really? Evidence please.

How about he evidence that people are coming down with polio. People do
get paralyzed, but please give the evidence that the polio virus is
responsible in the US.

And, please explain why CDC researchers were able to so easily figure
out that recent outbreaks caused by the virus were caused by the virus
so easily, if there is a general problem with finding the virus.

Today, it is easier than ever, with PCR and genetics.

How do you prove a negative?

Do you think that on his dying day, he wrote out everything he didn't say?

You made a claim that he said something. Please provide real evidence
that he did, not the laughing stock web page (whale.to).

It is inconsistent with the rest of the work he did. And you have
offered no verifiable evidence that he said it.

Could be people on the planet Xanthon using their polio ray guns.

However, there are no other explanations with any type of scientific
support.
