Hi Cody,
You may not like the sound of what I do to take my daily turmeric. Ready?
:) Four times daily I dissolve (suspend) one tsp of turmeric in a tumbler
of warm water, mixing the solution up so there are no lumps. I chase it
down with another full tumbler of water. At the same time I take my milk
thistle and reishi mushroom concentrate capsules, two of each. It is
important to drink the water as turmeric can lead to ulcers if too
concentrated. I try to take the turmeric brew on an empty stomach, about
one and one half hours after eating, or first thing in the morning. The
above recipe/prescription comes from Herbs..HepC..Liver book by S.H. Buhner.
He suggests molding the turmeric into balls the size of marbles by making a
porridge of it first with water. Then popping the balls to the back of the
throat and chasing with the water. That sounded very messy. In food, I
have found that turmeric best fits into a savoury stew or thick soup.

I know it sounds terrible but I wouldn't reluctantly recommend it unless I
knew that it seems to be effective for me.

cheers, best of luck

I'll try it. It doesn't sound too bad. One teaspoon, right?

Oh, four times, OK. I didn't get that from your first post.
