If you are in the US and have a live-in caregiver I am curious about
what a reasonable pay rate would be in your area.

I am wheelchair bound but I can bathe and dress myself. I have someone
living here who does shopping, housekeeping, and grounds-keeping work
(I'm on 10 acres of land). Oh yeah, he is managing my investments too,
which are my only source of income. The government sez I am not quite
disabled enough to be labelled disabled.

On the one hand he can do what he wants when he wants to; there is no
set schedule for the chores, so he can read a book or play with the
computer whenever the mood strikes him. But on the other hand, he comes
runing whenever I call him. Tricky to figure out what this is worth.
