I think I almost made it. Almost isn't reallly good enough though if
in the end you fail.

No drama, no need to panic.

wasted time, effort and space, lots of space. no point in even being

Almost is indeed good enough if it is all that you are capable of. As Young
said, even angels can only do their best. Their best may be a lot better
than our best, but looking at it that way, you almost made it this time.
That gives you a bit of confidence to try again. You can call this time
failure, or you can call it experience to use next time. Perhaps next time
you will succeed.
