Well, her and her kids and spouses, etc. Ah, yes, what Mike & I now refer to as "subtropical southern Michigan" - tongue in cheek of course. But if you'd told me eight years ago, when 83% of my life had been spent in Gainesville, FL, that I would ever consider southern MI's weather milder than that of where I lived, I would have howled! I tried to buy garden fertilizer downstate today and their season is so far ahead of ours, everyone was about sold out. Of course, in Florida, such stuff was year round stock! -- Nann remove the Gator cheer to email me Change everything. Love & forgive.

From: MZB on 2 Aug 2008 17:28 LOL!!! Actually, funny story about that. I had my choice of going to MSU or U of M. I'm from NYC, so I preferred the sprawling MSU campus as a great change of pace (got tired of the hectic big city pace). Both my children were accepted at both schools (smart kids). They went to both orientations. My son just felt more comfortable at MSU. I think my daughter decided on U of M when MSU at their orientation mentioned (bragged about) their football team for the fifth time! Yes, it's great having the Loons here -- minor league baseball is a fun, affordable local family event Mel Mel "Nann Bell" <hanbellGOGATORS(a)earthlink.net> wrote in message news:0001HW.C4B954E90022FEE6F0284550(a)news.east.earthlink.net... > On Fri, 1 Aug 2008 12:59:39 -0400, MZB wrote > (in message <2iHkk.2397$3l5.1254(a)newsfe06.iad>): > >> Howdy: >> >> Yeah, I live in Midland. > > Midland, cool.
