geodon [Bipolar]

I already take 300 lamictal, also 150 effexor. Doctor wants to add 20 mgs of
geodon for sleep. She says it also works for depression side of bipolar1.
Lamictal has helped tremendiously. Effexor seemed to also, but been having
more anxiety and sleep troubles. Irritabillity also is getting much worse.
Which for me is depression returning. Anyway any thoughts on benefits of
geodon would be appreciated.

They started me out on 80 mg of Geodon with food. I took it at 5:00
p.m. I felt like I had Mad Cow Disease. I couldn't even get to the
refrigerator to get a Coke to settle my stomach (I felt like I was
going to hurl). My legs wouldn't work. They wouldn't even hold me
up. I finally crawled like a crab in a desert to the refrigerator but
couldn't pull my self up. Finally my DH came home and helped me get a
Coke and almost carried me to the couch again. I still have 89 Geodon
pills (80 mg). I thought I was going to die and afraid I wasn't.

Thanks for the input. I'll have to agree with you. I started having
dizziness and a nagging cough on 20 mgs. I also swear it made my moods more
unstable. I would go from happy full of energy to crying hopeless. I am bp1
and don't usually cycle very often.
