This month the first National Disability History Conference was held in San
Francisco. In fact, it was really an international conference since at
least 6 other countries were represented by Disability Historians. 4 days.
Very good attendance. Lots of papers presented, panel discussions, and
great networking. Oh yes, guess who's daughter was invited to attend, all
expenses paid, the only historian with only a BA degree? (Mine)
