From: maffyv on 15 Oct 2007 03:55 I am a friend of a 15 year old who underwent a kidney transplant a year and a half ago; Grosso modo, the kidney was 26 hrs on ice before transplant and took a while to start working. The medecins she has been taking have provoked warts on the palms of her hands and feet and it is now advancing to other parts of her body. As if this wasn't enough, since a few days ago she has been feeling really painful cramps on her kidneys. The pain is so intense that she almost passes out, they some suddenly and then disappear to come back a few moments or hours later. She keeps loosing weight and she is already closely underweight, if this goes her health may be seriously damaged. She has been back to the hospital where they have run all the tests and nothing appears to be wrong. I was wondering if during the years that you have held this site if you had heard of something like this and could help perhaps throw some light on this problem. We are not expecting to solve it via the internet but perhaps ther is someone that can hint towards possible situations that the doctors haven't thought of in Belgium. I am sorry but any help is appreciated.
