This is something I have heard in yoga classes; it sounds beautiful, but I
don't really feel it.

That's the way the human brain works. Everything is connected. Apart from
the things that aren't. Some people try to find connections that aren't
necessarily there. Some people like to think everything happens for a
reason. Fate. Destiny. God. The ghost of some ancestor. Karma. Whatever. On
the other hand, some things are connected in ways we don't realise.
