you know the cure for a sour stomach is first stop drinking and
smoking. now make a minestroni or vegetable soup. peel and chop 5
carrots, 5 potatoes, 5 celery stalks. bring it to a rabid boil for 40
minutes. now add 1/2 cup of rice or lintels or small shells, 1/2 cup
flour, let simmer an hour. now stir in 1 can corn and 1 can peas and 1
can beans. let it cool. eat it in a big soup bowl with soda crackers
or slices of bread and butter.
for desert you deserve a big bowl of vanilla ice cream with 2 sliced
bananas.

LOL.

So, is this some kind of goofball homeopathic approach to treating GERD that
you read about somewhere? Or (more likely) does it represent something
you're hungry for at the moment?

Seriously, explain the science behind such an off-the-wall dietary
recommendation? And what is "sour stomach"?
