Hi again, Jo here...after reading Daisy's post...I also wanted to say
some thing in my own life...like last night, I was watching some
christian
station and this couple's grown son had been in an accident...the docs
wanted to pull the plug and ask if he had a organ card...the parents
said to hold off and they and others prayed for him...he is alive and
doing well now...but if
they had aggreed with the docs -he could have been dead instead so
while
I like the thought of the power of prayer, it brought tears to me eyes
once
again when I had wished once again, my son could have survived his
accident.
I am glad for those that come through terrible accidents, guess I am
always going to wish my son had as well ;(
Then a few weeks ago, I watched this man in his late 20s fall over
at a WalMart store I was in-in the dog can food lane where I was
heading to. I first thought it was someone was joking around but when
I saw him again, he
was stiff as a board on the floor and another man was yelling at
him"BROTHER! BROTHER! Are you all right??? then he told some employee
that his brother was a diabetic and was having a seizure -for her to
call for help(firetruck and ambulance came-I saw them in the parking
lot) . I said a prayer over this man-felt like that was all I could do
since I do not know how to help someone like that-his head was
bleeding dark red blood on the floor which grossed me out..... I felt
even worse for him and to this day I do not know if he made it or
died...feels like unfinish business but I will always hope he came out
of that ok.
And a week ago, I emailed a friend from church-complaining about my
dh and then hearing nothing, I emailed her again but still no
answer...which I thought was strange to me...I will keep emailing her
intil she respond....yes, I could call her but I don't want to
embarrass her for not writing so I will wait and wonder and hope she's
ok...I even asked my dh if he had seen her at church lately and he
said no. If anyone from church dies or is really sick, we are usually
told by someone who goes there but no word about her period.
Unfinish business feels aggravating to say the least ;(

The power of prayer no matter what your belief system is something I utilize
almost everyday. I too hope your friend is OK, I have a feeling that she
is, as well as the man in the store. (((hugs Jo)))
