From: Nunya B. on 30 Mar 2006 14:08 I tried it and didn't like it. I like counting my points. I got uncomfortable *not* doing it. Core didn't make me any less hungry but that really isn't my issue. I am back on flex, not even going to wait out the week. I think my counting is my security blanket. I realize I could have done counting on core, but fat-free cheese sucks :) The experience is a learning one that lets me appreciate the flex plan all the more. :) -- the volleyballchick

Most of my meals are generally core but I am used to counting points too. I prefer regular or 2% cheese though I drink nonfat milk and eat nonfat yogurt and cottage cheese. I am more comfortable with the flex plan. Audrey

I don't feel so weird now :) I always have fat free milk, yogurt, and cottage cheese, and even use fat free cheese on eggs, but not in anything else. The yogurt thing was another issue - I don't like plain yogurt unless I'm using it as a sour cream substitute. I like my fat free/sugar free fruit flavored goop :) I think I might have been hitting the cereal too hard so I'll just back off of that for a while. -- the volleyballchick

I lose best when I cut back on starches and just have 2 vegetables plus salad with a small serving of protein in the evening. I can still have the extra treats with flex points and not worry about what they are. Audrey |
