My husband has a severe case of IBS right now and has had for some time (1
1/2 months or so) and has looked online and found a book that will tell him
(for $19.99 of course) how to get rid of IBS and what foods to eat and which
ones to avoid. I would like to know if anyone has heard of this book and
what they think of it. His doctor has told him he has IBS, but also that he
has a blockage farther into his intestines that he gave him Amitiza for. We
thought last week that the blockage was coming out (the pain sites were
changing) but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.
I totally understand what he is going through because I suffer the same
thing a few times a year.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time.

I had a similar problem and found that changing my food did help "big
time" and without the need to take any medicines. You dont need to pay
for such information - I found a good free website with loads of
advice and help to get rid of my IBS problems - http://www.irritable-bowel-syndrome-cure.org/
- hope this helps - thanks patrick
