Yep, about 6 weeks or so. Only a couple of pounds of weight loss so far, but I "comfort eat" so I'm a tough case. On the other hand, my average waking blood glucose has dropped from about 190-200 down to 80-90 and we've backed off on the nighttime Lantus about 10%. Average blood glucose 2 hours after a heavy meal has dropped from about 280 down to 110 and we've backed off morning Lantus about 5%. If I work straight through without eating lunch, I have to make sure I have a carbo-snack available, since I've dropped as low as mid-40s once or twice in the afternoon. The lizard rules! Kooky
