Wow J, my hair stood on end when I found one image that sure looked similar
to mine in color, texture and border. I'll assume that I will get a lot of
attention over it when I show at the outpatient clinic in a few weeks.
Thanks for the citations, the concern and information. Bob--

Point taken. Thank you. I do live in US and am patient in getting seen. I
have had great results in getting a consensus from newsgroup participants
who offer alternatives from where I initially thought there was a problem,
ie not dental but maxio-facial. I appreciate your concern. Bob --

Thanks for the information J. When I called the county medical services
contact to say I had a derm problem, they replied that I'd have to go
through screening by a GP regardless and pick up a referral at that point.
Unfortunately I have relocated to an area where I do not have an established
relationship with a dermatologist and while I could travel to get that
resource again, I will keep the option open. If the clinic internist won't
excise it and I can't get seen by referral in say 2 or 3 weeks, then I
probably would think of calling up and then traveling to a specialist in
private practice if I can be seen quicker.

Thanks for the thoughtful message. I do not have a local GP due to recent
relocation. My guess though is that were I to see him, he would not want to
touch it. He'd defer to someone who sliced and diced a lot more regularly
than he does. That's just my guess though. I'll report back how things go
with clinic etc. Warm regards...
