hey folks!

does anyone notice whether they are
more likely to have anxiety at some times in
the day rather than others?

lately i often have anxiety between 4pm and 7pm.

is this a common feature of anxiety disorders
or is it quite unusual?

many thanks! =)

Dear TJ,

This is quite common. I know for me......all I need is a day or two or three
of anxiety around the same time to start anticipating it... thus making it
more likely that I will be anxious at the same time every day :) I find what
helps me the most to break the cycle is to shake up my routine around that
time a bit. Any chance you are experiencing break-through anxiety from your
benzo wearing off? It may also help to search for triggers, like being hungry
or tired. Hoping this anxious period ends for you soon.

In the last year or so, evenings have consistently been the worst. I think
that it is due to not having enough to keep my mind occupied.

that is an interesting thought! i should certainly see if hunger might be
a factor in this. it's true i would usually be getting quite hungry by about 5pm.
