Lately my anxiety, and my fear of leaving the house has gotten worse.
How can I stop it from getting any worse?
Thanx for reading!

Sometimes it has to get a little worse before you can get better.
But it will soon level off and you will find yourself ready to
tackle things more positively. Part of the problem is
introspection - the way we monitor our state of well-being so
intensely. At it's worst you will find yourself thinking "How do
I feel now?" every couple of minutes. When you can break that
habit you will be well on your way to recovery and this
overwhelming anxiety will gradually fade into the background.

For now try to accept the way you feel as a transitory phase.
Don't fight it, just go with the flow. Is your agoraphobia
related to social anxiety? In other words is it fear of seeing
other people that prevents you going out?

My Agoraphobia has resurfaced. My situation is different to yours but
I find breaking down goals into smaller components helps.
For example, can you walk to collect mail? If so, keep doing that
until you feel you can go out a little further.
I will give an example of a recent situation that happened with me.
There is a place I like to go to have coffee. I became panicky some
weeks ago and discussed it with my husband. I had him accompany me the
next couple of times as I believed I would feel safer. I can go there
again.
For me, it is very important to get out at least once a day or I start
to slide.

Hi chayahrose ,

U must go to a psysc . who will give u proper dosage of right
drugs , may be clonazepam , and take my word it willllll.......
take u out of what you r suffering from .
when u have gone through a bad patch contineously
u lose confidence in urself and on ur ability to cope up
with that bloody feeling rising from inside , making u unstable
and u feel comfortable when some one is with u .U feel safe
when with someone otherwise insecure.
clonazepam , makes u nonreactive to the stimuli , hence
u will not care 4 what u feel when u r away from home .
And slowly it will change ur belief too.

Hey one thing is must , u must do the thing that u thing
u cannot do .
Keep clonazepam with u , just 4 safety and take it only when u feel
that insecurity feeling .
mark my words it willlll......... take u out .

Best
Visor.
