From: Sunshine on 4 Aug 2008 22:23 Don't think like my peers. Hate the sound of the word peers. Makes my skin crawl. Sounds ugly. I digress. Love my kids. Have to remember to show it. I know it. Shouldn't they. Oops. Have to remember they don't follow my logic. Hope they aren't like me. An Aspie + NT = Maybe? What about all the little things I don't, can't, won't do... sleepovers, company, talking late into the night. How have my kids grown up without me being an NT. Just fine. We sleep at night.

Just fine. We sleep at night. ---------------- Remember, you are a peerless parent! BTW, I couldn't handle sleepovers, company, birthday parties either. My neighbor came to my rescue and pretty much ran the birthday parties for me. I'm glad all that stuff is over with. I sympathize with you. Eva |
