I take 500mg Metformin at breakfast time and 1000mg at bedtime with my
other night-time pills. I've never had any gastric reaction, and it's
easier to take all my bedtime pills together than to remember to take the
Metformin with dinner. I also take 30mg Diamicron/Gliclazide SR in the
morning.
