Turning Ashes Into Rings and Reefs
More than a third of Americans choose to be cremated when they die,
but the days of scattering ashes or keeping them in an urn may soon be
gone. Today, a company called LifeGem turns cremated remains into
synthetic diamonds. Ashes also can be incorporated into glass balls or
pottery. Another business will disperse ashes over the ocean—as part
of a fireworks display. Finally, people can choose to sleep with the
fishes. Several companies create man-made reefs containing ashes for
the ocean floor. What would you want done with your remains? Tell us
in the comment section below.

Hello - My name is Lamb and this is my first post in this group. I
want to be cremated and have my ashes scattered with my husband's.
Although both my sister and daughter were cremated and I have, at
times, found it difficult to be without a place to visit where they
are.
