From: thinkingthing on 3 Feb 2006 13:30 Hi. I want to strengthen my wrists, they are very weak. How should I use dumples, will push-up exercises be useful? My other - may be more important - problem is the fat around my waist. How can I get rid of them? What type of exercise you can suggest?

What type of exercise you can suggest? For strengthening your wrist, I recommend a combination of two things. First, load your wrists with weights while keeping them straight - knuckle pushups are good for this. Second, before, after, or both, put your wrists through a full range of motion, e.g., intertwine your fingers and roll your hands around while trying to keep your elbows relatively still. To lose weight, exercise regularly while watching what you eat. Lifting weights via compound movements like the deadlift and squat is great for building strength and, combined with some cardiovascular conditioning, should help you get leaner. -S- http://www.kbnj.com
