From: Grandpa Chuck on 8 Oct 2008 13:51 Hello friends. I went to Dr. Misra in the morning and he sent me to Saint Luke's in the afternoon. While I was there a Dr. Smally stuck a catheter through the side of my abdomen and drained out over eighteen pounds of liquid. That was a tremendous help. I am sore today, but I guess that is to be expected. The water is still in my scrotum and my penis but they say that will drain out in time all by itself. I do feel a lot better even though we don't know where the water came from. I will go back in Monday for an ultrasound of my liver. There really isn't anything else to report at this time. As soon as I find out more I will forward to you all. Take care and be well. -- Grandpa Chuck -- ~
