From: Chief on 18 Nov 2005 20:41 No insulin at all today. I spent all day around 100 with no medications. I went up to 134 after dinner but went down to 114 after two hours. At bedtime I've been less than 100 two nites now and can't see a reason to take the basil insulin the doc prescribed at that Bg level - it might put me to low. Am I screwing up? I called for a sooner apt to discuss this with the doc - I hope it lasts. I think my stomach is getting better with the Protonix. Maybe that's why? I also switched back to drinking coffee since my stomach was acting right. Maybe the caffine helped?

BTW, have you got a real first name, or are you shy? Most of us use a first name. Calling you "Chief" is like calling you "sir" or "boss". (Superman - Jimmy Olsen called his boss "chief") Maybe I'll make up a nickname for you. Pick one, or I'll pick one for you. Dave

You'd both tie for last place! (reference to "deit") I cringe when I think of your education--did you play hooky a lot? Dave

I was just "messin' wit ya". Some people take my silliness the wrong way. So just in case you got offended, IT WAS A JOKE! (Geez, I hate to write disclaimers--it takes 1/2 the fun away). Dave (see, I have a first name, "Chief", or should I write "Cheif"?)

Picking on spelling is though. Spellcheckers don't check the subject line. |
