Muscles stunt growth in height?
A person gained some nice muscle mass(85kg=170pounds, 175cm=5'9) by bodybuilding between the age of 15.5 to 17. (8-15 reps to failure, no $upplements). Then, he stopped working-out and (high calorie intake) kept most of the muscles, but he grew only 2cm=1 inch (now being 22yrs, 90kg, 5'10). He was doing no sports ... 28 Nov 2006 08:13
Weight gain from muscle - how much?
Hi All, I have been weight training for a year now but before that I had never done any form of exercise. I spent the first 3 months on machines and cardio 3 times a week to get used to exercise. I then started on free weights 4 times a week with an additional 1 or 2 one hour cardio sessions in the form of power... 30 Nov 2006 16:26
I'm going Bald
I'm going bald. People make fun of wigs, and plugs and growing your hair long to cover the bald spot. Plus it's expensive to get treatment for baldness. Who votes for just shaving it all off? Is complete baldness so bad? Or is it only for skin-heads, bikers, gang members, etc...? ... 20 Nov 2006 18:13

I was reading this article and it said "7.000 calories is not unreasonable, to get big one has to eat a lot" But since based on 50% efficiency to grow a pound of muscle the body needs 2.000 calories; how many... 18 Nov 2006 20:16

Lyle's books - anyone read?
Lyle is a pretty prolific writer, and I'm interested in reading one of his books. I'm not sure which one to start with though, he seems to have several that touch on my goals of overall fat loss and muscle retention. As a female who has been pretty diligent with diet and exercise for 6 months, I seem to have ... 15 Nov 2006 23:09
Isometrics, Steriods, Alexander Zass And Charles Atlas's Dynamic Tension- Effective or Just a Hoax??
By Frank Sherrill, Did you know that you could build muscle and become stronger without weight training? It's true. It's called isometric training and it increases muscle mass, giving you that great-looking body you always wanted.
