Recipe for mock cream cheese frosting
Actually, this can be used any way you like, but it is great on muffins, or bagels or cake. You do need to have a food processor for this. Take any 1% cottage cheese, large or small curd, any brand and put it into the food processor. Process till everything is smooth and free of any lumps. Add as much sweet... 3 Jan 2006 18:43
Overweight Child
Hi--I'm new to the group. Here's some background and some questions... My new stepdaughter is 13 and weighs in at about 145 at 5'3". She doesn't care about her weight, and refuses to join Weight Watchers (I'm on it and have about 5lbs to lose at this point.) She sneaks food constantly, and when she's at her mo... 9 Jan 2006 03:13
Willow :) Activity points
There is nothing as useful to learning as a good debate, because everyone IS different and when people share what works for them, others who are like them learn, and maybe some who disagree might be compelled to try the other persons suggestions later. It is nothing personal. You get to be OLD like me and you w... 18 Nov 2005 06:52
Looking for original weight watchers plan
Hi, I'm new to all of this so please bear with me. Years ago I joined weight watchers (1989) back when they still had the exchanges. I stopped going at that time but some years later I got engaged and decided I was NOT going to be a fat bride. At that time I still remembered all the exchanges and picked up the p... 19 Nov 2005 09:52

Activity points
How do you calculate your activity points? The more I read in here the more I'm amazed at the amount of activity points some people give themselves.. I know I'm here as a member not as a leader, but I see trouble brewing for later on.. 1 AP is loosely calculated about 100 calories burned.. to earn 1 AP I have ... 20 Nov 2005 03:53
lifetime requirement question
I have a question. I live in the USA but I am Canadian. Here at WW I enquired about the lifetime membership requirements and what the weight restrictions were. I was told that you cannot go over by 2 lbs of your goal weight and as long as you don't go UNDER the weight goal RANGE then you are fine. Well that wo... 6 Nov 2005 07:30
Lost 5 pounds this week ;-D
I have been sick for a week & a half with a bad chest cold - coughing like crazy. I didn't realize coughing was exercise - but it must have been, because even though I ate my points every day & did almost nothing except sleep, I actually lost 5 pounds. I wonder how many points an hours coughing earns you ;-D N... 30 Oct 2005 04:39
Trying to make point counting less time consuming
Yesterday I had an idea to start making meal cards. I got me a recipe box and some index cards. I'm going to start writing down my meals with portion size, of everything that I had for that meal. And that why when I have that same meal again I can just look at the card and know how many points or calories it was. I... 7 Oct 2005 20:16
