Prev: An Agoraphobics Nightmare From Hell!
Next: Whaaa?
From: Jessica Marie on 28 Aug 2006 14:46 I just wanted to mention that for the past year I have been researching zillions of web sites for just about every mental condition imaginable------during this time, I have plenty of web sites for Agoraphobics (trust me, it was a selfish endeavor) Most of them just have a lot of tips for our phobia's & other links. I'm not trying to suck anyone out of this support group, I'd rather share useful suggestions, stories, tips, etc. w/ my fellow agora's! To start with just some gleaning for small tips & lots of free e-courses (including one on panic attacks :) Try it out & anyone wanting to know other info web sites....drop me a line! In the meanwhile; check out............. (http:/www.panic-attacks.co.uk/contact.htm) AND............ (http:/www.more-selfesteem.com/newsletter49.htm) Happy fishing! Jessica Marie et. al. :-D
From: mruk4u on 7 Sep 2006 06:05 Unfortunately, you forget to mention that the 2 above sites are NOT entirely FREE...; and, that they do, in fact, request their users to BUY the cure which they are selling. However, some articles are FREE; and, these I found to be very worthwhile reading. But, I certainly didn't bother with BUYing even a single thing!
From: Jessica Marie on 7 Sep 2006 09:20 May I make amends by sending more web sites? Try...... (www.paniccure.com) (www.agoraphobia.com) (http://familydoctor.org/137.xml) (http>//www.algy.com/anxiety) And I have more..........so, peace.......... Er...sorry, for the apparent ugly outburst. But, it certainly wasn't meant to be taken personally, atall. In fact, I think, you are doing a truly excellent job by posting your fav. links for us all to share...; honestly, I've enjoyed visiting the sites you sent...; and, usually, did/do learn a lot from having read the text. It's just that I go and visit so many online sites...which purport to be of tremendous 'help'...then, when you get there you discover the only help these people are offering is to go and help themselves to YOUR money. It's like if you BUY this cure...then, all will be well for 200% sure!!! And, I'm like unemployed(read totally flat broke!) with bills, bills, BILLS that endlessly keep on pouring in through the letterbox...and, then, they want me to go BUY a cure for all my problems do they?! Which, to me, is like saying add more money problems to what you already got. No way, Hose! Respectfully, thanks very much for the links. I will go check out these new ones, too. My moaning and groaning is all done here, I swear, promise! ;-) |
