WALL-E: I've been alone for so long, Eve. Every day i've dreamt of
meeting somone like you.
EVE: I've been disappointed before, Wall-E. So many times. I'm not
sure i want to let down my defences again.
WALL-E: Let me show you just what a beautiful place the world really
is.
EVE: Why not? What's one more disappointment after all these
fruitless years . . .

What Wall-E doesn't realize is that the one thing Eve is looking for -
the one thing that can win her over - is the only thing that can keep
them apart.

If their love is to stand any chance of flourishing, they must
confront their own limitations - and those of the world which created
them.
