From: bimbo_15_63@yahoo.com on 5 Dec 2005 14:46 Hello, I left another message about all my probs but does anyone who wakes up constantly with a very dry mouth during the night have a bad taste or breath the next day??? When I have the episodes of waking up with cotton mouth all night, the taste in my mouth is usually awful the next day, even after eating or brushing. Thanks..James.

You're giving the bacteria in your mouth lots of opportunity to breathe without the problem of your saliva. It'd be better if you can figure out a way to keep your mouth shut while you sleep. -- A few minutes ago I attempted to give a flying fsck, but the best I could do was to watch it skitter across the floor. There's so much resin in suspension that no matter how much I brush the fangs before going to sleep I'll get that conntonmouth feeling the next day. I'd suggest you might try to equate this with something you eat or drink. -- Bill AT DOT reply to bbenzel adelphia net
From: bimbo_15_63@yahoo.com on 6 Dec 2005 11:13 No...this happens during REM sleep and its only happened since I had a bad reaction to a CT scan 8 weeks ago. Its happened the last two nights, I wake up numerous times durning REM sleep with the cotton mouth and my heartbeat accelerated...I assume its my sympathetic nervous system speeding my heart up and closing off my salivary glands but I don't know why...I feel like hell because I wake up so many times...ugh.
