Hello,
Ok. At the risk of displaying my woeful ignorance on the subject, what is a
troll as defined by *this* group?
I've been lurking here for a couple of months or so waiting to pluck up
enough dander to ask, because here on UPSD it seems to be a very fluid term
which seems to cover just about any behaviour whether good or evil. So just
for my own clarification, would someone care to define it for me please?

The wording of your post makes me think that you are a troll. It could
have come from the chapter on `Simple subtlty' in the book `How to
troll'.

I suspect that the best standard advice for this newsgroup regarding
trolls is to ignore/killfile anyone not posting with a real email
address.

I think you have got hold of the wrong end of the stick mate.
I seem to have sent my message to you accidently (sorry about that), when it
was meant to be a question in the "don't feed the trolls" thread. I clicked

Well, I may well be a "troll" but until I receive a definition of a "troll"
as described by this group, I won't know whether I am or not. Will I?
If you care to go through the archive, you will find a couple of posts sent
by me when I was suicidal about a couple of months ago - got no support at
all. Lol, You were all to busy squabbling to notice.

have a sense of perspective - for a moment at least.
