I've been away for awhile and now see that this Group has been
infected w/ kooks and spammers, and I don't see nearly as many
substantive discussions as we used to have. If the old crew has
abandoned this group, where are you now?

With the economy, and the election, I would not doubt some apathy within the
group especially with the added aspect of prostate cancer.......

Well, let's see. In the last few days, we've heard from the likes of
Steve Jordan, I.P. Freely, Califchief, jloomis, Alan Meyer,
DoubleOwSeven, Steve Kramer, El Woody, and J (who, by crossposting,
brought in a few folks we don't usually hear from over in the breast
cancer group) to name a few. These are all "old crew" regulars. We have
had a couple of threads on colonoscopies and colon cancer, and about the
usual number of kooks and spammers.

AFAIK, we're all still here....somewhere.

The kooks are just an overflow from Alt.Support.Cancer (they won't seen
this, btw).

There has been a lull in new members, though. We've had only two in the
last month; Albert and clelancl.

I expect things will pick up; either when it gets colder or when this damned
election is over.
