From: dr2354 on 6 Aug 2008 22:02 I've been on and off this group for the past 6 years. RRP in May 2003 - SV involvement and positive margins CALGB study - Mitoxantore, Zoladex, Predisone, Casodex That brought my PSA down to < 0.003 and gave me all the well published side effects. About 18 months ago my PSA began to rise again. My PSADT had hovered around 3 months. As my PSA approached "biochemical recurrance" I looked for solutions. I came across this trial at RPCI. My PSA was: ..52 on Apr 25 began 10,000 IU per day ..60 on May 19 ..73 on Jun 13 ..60 on Jul 31 This is a phase II trial and they are looking for more participants. Hey - it is worth a try DanR

It would be instructive to look at the difference. However, over such a short period it's hard to draw any conclusions. There is said to be a normal variation in PSA from day to day which can be "as much as 30%", though I don't really know what that means. > This is a phase II trial and they are looking for more participants. > > Hey - it is worth a try > > DanR Sure does look like it's worth a try. Whether it works or not, please keep us posted. Thanks. Alan
