From: Steve Kramer on 19 Jun 2006 18:03 Had my visit, too, today. We discussed my PSA from 4 months ago (to recap my PSAs since starting hormones has been down, down, up, up, down and up. The last PSA was 0.132. My doc isn't one to sit around a wait. He wrote a script for Casodex and, if today's pull is above 0.132, I'm to start it immediately. He believes, based on my history, Casodex with send my numbers to or near zero again. If not, in October, it's off to the oncologist and chemo. I asked about my chances for living to March 29, 2011. He said that even without treatment, I should live that long. I'm glad I picked 2012 in the pool. -- PSA 16 10/17/2000 @ 46 Biopsy 11/01/2000 G7 (3+4), T2c RRP 12/15/2000 G7 (3+4), T3cN0M0 Neg margins PSA .1 .1 .1 .27 .37 .75 EBRT 05-07/2002 @ 47 PSA .34 .22 .15 .21 .32 Lupron 07/03 (1 mo) 8/03 (4 mo), 12/03, 4/04, 09/04, 01/05, 5/05, 10/05, 2/06 PSA .07 .05 .06 .09 .08 .132 Non Illegitimi Carborundum

Will be interesting to see if my recent TURP, (06/06/06) has any effect on the PSA, due to the trauma caused by intervention. Just getting my pee-pee back to good flow today after a fair few fish-hooks went thru! -- Reader to complete... -- Please reply to this ng as my email adress is fake: -- Regards -- CC

I am not sure what way we usually write it, but it seems it can be all 3 ways. Looks like "day/month/year" is the popular Canadian one. But, as an ex-secretary, I write out the Month first. (June 19, 2006). However.....and you knew there would be one, grin........why not write it the way we genealogists do....so there is absolutely NO confusion..... Today is ..... 19 June 2006 A hell of a lot simpler and no misinterpretation at all!! XX Figgs |
