From: genejyao on 23 Mar 2005 21:17 I am travelling to India on May 1 and have been warned by everyone to get vaccianted for Hep A, Hep B, and typhoid. My insurance doesn't cover such vaccinations. I am only going for a week and staying in the cities in business-class hotels. My questions are: 1) Are these vaccinations really necessary? 2) What are the costs of these vaccinations (since my insurance doesn't cover them)? 3) Are there nasty side effects? 4) Is it too late to get effective vaccination now?
