From: DIONYSUS on 19 Sep 2005 02:23 I have had (For 5years) an ongoing problem with calcium based kidney stones. While i can usually deal with the pain until a stone is lodged in my urethra other problems are occurring. Especially at night i get a fever and and hives which make it hard to sleep. Also when my left lower kidney area bothers me the most my sweat smells almost like urine! Before anyone says it i bath daily ,and my overall hygine is fine. I just can't understand this urine thing i wonder if it means my kidneys are rejecting/leaching out toxins.....Don....loftyone(a)comcast.net

Symptoms of kidney failure include swelling in your legs and feet, nausea and vomiting, fatigue, etc. Look here for more information: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/000500.htm If you're that concerned a simple blood and urine test are all that are needed to determine how well your kidneys are working. My advice is for you to see your doctor so you can put your mind at ease. Larry
