From: Melissa Granada on 24 Apr 2008 18:46 My headaches didn't subside either after having radiation and chemo for my brain tumor. I also have shunt to take care of after 2 days on radiation, water on the brain and I get MRI's ever 3-6 months now. I have about 10 more weeks on chemo Seems like I am even more sensitive now to things. My hands or legs or feet will hurt, I think it is a nerve doing that. My doctor put me on Lyrica, 75mg X2 a day to help with headaches and it does with the pressure headaches I get. I couldn't cough, sneeze or do anything exertional while not on it. Can put you to sleep though the first time you take it depending how your body reacts to it. Melissa > Are there any other medications out there that are good at treating > headaches? I'm not sure my headaches would be classified as > migraines, but they are an everyday issue. My headaches came about > after I had numerous brain surgeries to fix a problem I had with > hydrocephalus and a cyst on my optic nerve. Does > anyone know of any other good medications besides Trazodone to treat > these kind of headaches? > > Thanks. > Jack
