Abuse of psychology
There are many people on USENET who abuse the DSM-IV, applying it to other people when they have no business doing so. I am really infuriated with a person in another group who is insisting I have Borderline Personality Disorder. I am trying to track him down so I can get his news service cut off. He is abusing... 6 Jun 2007 20:22
Triggers
I am finding myself triggered by words like "sex", "beat", "hit" in these different Yahoo groups I belong to. So I am learning not to read those groups anymore or if I care about them, to speak up about my needs. I am learning that I have Victorian sensibilities and this is ok. I think I am healing. orthodox b... 4 Jun 2007 22:30
LIBEL: Borderline Personality Disorder
I wanted to show you the prior hurtful post from that man on another newsgroup. I know I am relatively new to this group. I have drifted in and out of it for a long time, lurking here and there. I finally decided to jump in and participate because I want to get well. The quote is from a friend. My detractor doe... 3 Jun 2007 04:47
DEFAMATION: Borderline personality disorder
So I told you all about someone that thinks he knows better than my therapist and psychiatrist. He really hurt me. This was his last post about me. I hope he never writes on USENET again. I fear his true identity. I need your help refuting this as fellow sufferers of trauma and ptsd. I know from my studies of ... 3 Jun 2007 21:09
PTSD medications
Ok, I am willing to talk about PTSD medications now. I left a religious newsgroup that was causing me trouble, so I can focus on this group now. My first doctor suggested Lamictal for me and this really upset me because it is an anti-epileptic and a drug to treat bipolar disorder, neither of which I have. My do... 2 Jun 2007 16:26
PTSD-specific meds ... anyone?
Hi Olympiada! Anxiety is a symptom, not a diagnosis. I agree IF one carries a diagnosis of PTSD. However, I am not so sure that anxiety can not be a diagnosis. I take three PTSD meds right now because I am coming off of one. What do you classify as PTSD meds? Zoloft? Buspar? I have yet to meet a... 2 Jun 2007 12:48
Upcoming Bio-Pic: Connie Francis
Hi midmowriter/Pat! I have reported your spam to live journal admin. I have also demanded they remove your site. If your site is still live next week, I will file suit in the 31st Judicial District in Greene County, Missouri for your intentional infliction of additional emotional trauma on the members... 1 Jun 2007 10:12
Hypervilance
omnes wrote: Hi everyone, I have a question about hyperviligance (or "startle response", I guess). With my PTSD, I seem to have a continuous hyperviligance "sense", it is not about anything "specific" (like a specific "threat"), just a general sense of being "on guard". Can any of you relat... 31 May 2007 14:15
