That must be it. I know Angela still moderates her yahoo group and her
sites. Tim did have some really solid info also. Was he an actual scientist?
Did he also have herpes? What's a sock puppet?

Yep, although even she is taking a little time off at the moment.

Yep.

Nope. He was a researcher in the Herpes field but stuck around the
group even after he moved into a different field of research. And
you're right, he had a wealth of knowledge to share. Great sense of
humor too.

as an ally to back up the troll's stories or back him up in cases of
disagreement or as a partner to harass another group member. It's a
dishonest and simple bit of trickery that can be hilarious when the
two screen names are found out by the group to actually be the same
person. I don't understand the psychology of trolls except they're
usually hateful types in search of attention. And usenet has more than
enough of 'em.
