From: guys on 14 Aug 2008 11:07 I know how unimportant i am and why these groups were created. Since the Internet is an anarchy, some seem to think it is their personal right to use for their personal entertainment . There are several hundred thousand outlets for all to find an outlet for their personal whims. These were setup by great people to serve a special purpose. It is not an outlet for drunks or people with an axe to grind unrelated to diabetes. It does not work well with people having a teen mentality playing cute games. It for people to discuss as best they can the issues that do great harm and much misery in the long run. There is more to life than today. Why do some have to take from others for no good reason. The thing that bugs me is these clowns are detracting from the purpose of the group and actually doing harm to other people. Some are lazy bums that gathering here to have a party. Anyone that thinks they are living for just today do not belong here and they are detracting from the pursuit of help so may need. I expect some childish replies and that is exactly what they are. Take them to the proper group and enjoy. e. ----== Posted via Pronews.Com - Unlimited-Unrestricted-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.pronews.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! >100,000 Newsgroups ---= - Total Privacy via Encryption =---

There is indeed more to life than today, but today is a critically important part of life - it's where the future becomes the past, where hopes and expectations are transformed into fulfilment or disappointment. > The thing that bugs me is these clowns are detracting > from the purpose of the group and actually doing harm > to other people. Are you referring to me as a clown, or somebody else? Or several people? I don't actually mind too much being called a clown, as long as it's done in a way that lets me reply; I've been called far worse things than that on Usenet. > Anyone that thinks they are living for just today do > not belong here and they are detracting from the pursuit > of help so many need. With due respect, that's rubbish. Anybody with concerns about diabetes belongs here, regardless of whether they are living just for today, just for the far future, or whatever balance of those extremes. Please remember that your particular problems are not shared by all of us, and some of us, including me, have to cope with stuff you can barely conceive of. We don't even have the same disease; just the name and bits of the treatment are shared. > I expect some childish replies and that is exactly what they are. How about you standing up like a man? Direct your disagreement, anger, or whatever clearly and directly at me (or whomever), and engage fairly in debate. Or hold your peace. But please stop this snide vagueness. Please. -- Alan Mackenzie (Nuremberg, Germany).

Almost al of my post are not directed toward any one person but may be directed toward some idea. So it not proper to accept an idea that will not wash or survive scientific scrutiny I do read a lot of your post because they are good and useful. I stlll read a few of Macks posts because they have good information. My main objection is to the trash that creeps in and turns the groups into a pissing session. When I may mention a proper name it does not refer to any individual except in a couple of cases. It is not nice to hit at individual except those that seem to love to attack others. They do not belong here. All I know about you is what I see here so you are one of many. BUT, I do know that the groups have been harmed by so many trite issues where no issue existed. Please do not read things into my posts that were not there. I always ??? refer to the behavior, not the person. My posts fly off the wire and I do not see the recieptant. They stink in most cases. All that I have. I do know I want more about health, especially diabetes. I see you as a good poster with a lot of good information. ----== Posted via Pronews.Com - Unlimited-Unrestricted-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.pronews.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! >100,000 Newsgroups ---= - Total Privacy via Encryption =---
