"You know added insulin is provided to IR patients also. What is its
purpose?"

To lower an abnormally high fasting blood glucose concentration, which
over time will also cause harm on top of the harm coming from the
underlying metabolic syndrome (MetS).

Will such added insulin and forcing more glucose into cells to a
diabetic with IR, is really beneficial?

Only when there is no overeating:

A IR person, whose insulin secretion is not impaired, who can be cured
by avoiding overeating/VAT, insulin is already more and continual.
Then, what is the purpose of adding more and more?

Can more insulin also cause more hunger and hyperglycemia in IR folks?

The increasing release of insulin is necessary for reducing the level
of blood glucose in the face of increasing IR (insulin resistance).

> Can more insulin also cause more hunger and hyperglycemia in IR folks?

More optimal levels of blood glucose improves health thereby
increasing hunger.

"Hunger is good." -- Holy Spirit
