Surely 'business as usual' for the LHC is currently 'switched off'.

And if the 1 in 500 million event occurs whereupon the LHC operating
at full capacity creates micro black holes which coalesce and swallow
the solar system, the mode state for the LHC will remain 'switched
off' except in potential alternate universes.

it wouldn't turn into a cinder, it would suck in on itself whilst waving
