From: Jan Drew on 9 Aug 2008 01:05 http://charlieinwonderland.com/?p=623 The Flu Vaccine As you probably heard, I took my teenage daughter to her pediatrician last week for a sports physical. The office had vaccine notices hanging on every wall: their official vaccine policy, flu vaccine notices, vaccine "safety" information (which I once defaced with "LIES!" in black sharpie), etc. One of the notices was in regards to the flu vaccine - they were insisting every child (from 6 month old babies to teens) get the shot. I bring this up because during a recent visit to another autism mom's blog, I read this: Our twins, Steven Jr. and Samuel were diagnosed with Mercury Induced Autism. *Stevie and Sammy were NOT born with Autism. They received 2 flu vaccines containing Thimerosal 27 days apart (at the tender age of 6 months then again at just shy of 7 months) by our "previous" pediatrician. Mercury aka Thimerosal is the second known neurotoxin to man. [The CDC says on it's website that "mercury is a neurotoxin and to avoid eating fish because it may contain mercury. They state as an example a person weighing 110 pounds should have no more than 5 micrograms of mercury." The flu vaccine contains 25 micrograms of mercury. You need to weigh at least 550 pounds for this vaccine to be safe.] Had someone told us this, in the winter of 2004, our boys would have NEVER received these shots! Do the research.[MERCURY WAS TAKEN OUT OF ANIMAL VACCINES OVER 10 YEARS AGO!]
