From: only me on 24 Mar 2007 21:58 Hello everyone, I want to thank all of you for your support & words of encouragement, thoughts & best wishes. The case is almost over, we go back on June 8th for sentencing, he changed his plea to guilty, the proscecutor wants 10 yrs. susp. after 6 with 3 yrs. probation. The judge has the final say, she will probably give less, but I will be content with whatever it is, no choice anyway. The media was more respectful this time, I just said not yet & they backed off. In the beginning they were all over us, because he was a city official, I guess that made it more important to them. There was alot of coverage though, all local tv news & newspaper, it should die down now , its become old news. I still have some things to get ready for the sentencing date, letters, etc. But I have some time now to take a breath & get myself together a bit. I am so grateful for your listening & being here for me. My heart & thoughts are with you all, Hugs , Pat

I had a brother in-law who worked for the CIA. He was murdered by a stalker who wanted his wife (my sister in-law). Thankfully, the killer killed himself, so we had no court proceedings to go through. The entire story is absolutely crazy. We (me and my husband) actually had People's Magazine call our house. And the media? It was hideous.
