From: JHM on 20 Jul 2006 00:05 "It's bad enough that Israel is dependent on handouts from working U.S. taxpayers for its very survival, but can't it at least comply with the law and not use their U.S. taxpayer supplied weapons to murder hundreds of innocent civilians, including women and children? When Israel uses U.S. weapons to commit war crimes and acts of terrorism, it puts America at risk of retaliatory attacks... " Oh well, let's go back to cowering under our beds like the Chickenhawk Heroes of Rancho Crawford did back when Poodle Tony first advised them about Saddam Hussein's terror-tipped 45-minute specials! Come along, sir, try to grow up a little and make a sober actuary's assessment of our real risks and not just repeat some "talking points" nonsense that was handed to you on a platter. It's only an accidental misfortune for you that I happen to have seen those same "talking points" myself and can thus find you out absolutely for sure. If you were a decent political grown-up and not a gullible talking-points junkie, I might endeavor to explain why our Uncle Sam is not _really_ any co-conspirator with the Olmerts and the Peretzes of West/Jewish Palestine in aid of "murder hundreds of innocent civilians, including women and children" or "commit war crimes and acts of terrorism." Our Sam most assuredly didn't ever do _that_ or ever license any client regime whatsoever to do it for us. Whether what the Olmerts and the Peretzes have done against Lebanon amounts to the abominations that you announce is a separate question. No doubt AIPAC puts out talking points too.

The Israelis did accuse the Palestine Red Crescent of allowing ambulances to be used to transport weapons a few years back, but when the International Red Cross investigated, they found the charges baseless. Many other baseless charges have been levied by the Israelis over the years. Having studied the subject, and been involved in it myself, I've learned to expect that. Al Moore DoD 734 |
