Hello everyone, especially Chloe,

I've hung out here for too many years to count. I've
made friends and helped a few in need of an ear to
listen. My ISP, Verizon, has announced that they are
dropping the entire alt.* hierarchy. I wanted to say
goodbye to everyone and let them know the reason that
I will vanish.

Surely there must be another news feed that you could swiotch on to?
Unless you got bored with asl, of course: it has slowed down a lot these
last months, due to spa(s)mmers. Don,t wanna write the word and attract
them again:(:(

But whatever you chose...Never leave without emailing me once more to make
sure I do add your addie to my address book? I ty not to nomally, or did
not, because I feared a trojn or some bug invading my addie book and
sending a vius to everyone. But I started using it more and nothing bad
happened so far. I never coudl rememebr your entire addie as you know. For
some reason it refuses to click ion that brain of mine:(. I now rememebr
the first word, that si all...Not the domain (server) addie....and I think
I miss a part still after the H- - -....Argh!

Chloe,

My email address is [HUEY dot DLL at GTE dot NET].

That address has been in use for a little over ten
years and will vanish soon. I'm changing my ISP,
cable, phone, and wireless service over this
decision.

I get a couple spams a day... tops. I use only
text mode so you can't hurt my systems anyway.
I'll write to those that I have email addresses
for.
